Where is the logic?

For the past ten weeks, hairdressers in Auckland have been forced to shut their doors. This is regardless of the vaccination status of either their staff or their clientele. It is likewise regardless of the precautions they are willing to take against the possibility of spreading infection.

I have felt very conflicted about posting this story, simply because it is by Brian Tamaki. But then I realised that I was really just trying to censor him, not because I disagree with what he says here, in fact I very much agree in this instance, but because of who he is. At that point I realised my own hypocrisy.

Cam Slater raises some very important points in this article from The BDF and reminds us, we won’t comply our way to freedom.

Only grant such power to your leaders that you would be OK with if it were in the hands of your worst enemy.

The world is truly up-side-down when I find myself agreeing with Cam Slater. But in his article published on The BDF (thebfd.co.nz), he is dead-right!
