I Do Not Think We Ever Will Get Back to Normal

At a time when so much is happening that is puzzling or saddening or rage inducing, it lifted my spirits to read a comment written by a reader of The BFD.

The writer, Huia, expressed what I think many, many of us have experienced and was able to put succinctly how we feel as a result. Huia’s comment was highlighted by The BFD as their “Comment of the Week”.

Anyone who died while Covid-infected is included in the Ministry of Health’s number of deceased. That can include those who have not passed away because of Covid-19.

The Ministry of Health are finally fessing-up to what we have known all along. You could be hit by a bus and killed but if you return a positive Covid test, you’re counted as a corona-virus death.

A huge French study shows BELIEVING you had Covid is associated with many later symptoms. But ACTUALLY having had Covid isn’t associated with any (except loss of sense of smell).

The Journal of the American Medical Association has another stunning paper out, this one on post-Covid symptoms in almost 27,000 French adults.
